The Details for our Habitat for Humanity Day

Thanks to everyone who will be joining us on our volunteer day!

We'll need everyone who is attending to fill out the form here.

Here are the details:
Saturday, December 12th
7:45 am - 4:00 pm

We'll leave from the hotel lobby at 7:15 am. Transportation and lunch will be provided by Lullabot.

Dress: You should dress in clothes that you don’t mind ruining and in which you can work comfortably in your specific date’s weather. Shoes must be closed-toed (i.e. no sandals). You may also wish to bring sunglasses and sunscreen with you.

Work to be done: It is impossible to say what the exact nature of the work on any given day will be. There is always a wide range of things to be done.

In case of rain: We will continue to work, inside if need be, until the rain abates. If it becomes obvious that the rain isn’t going to stop then work will be called off for the day, but this is a very rare occurrence.

Lunch: From 12:00 - 1:00 we will break for lunch.

Water: Please bring a bottle with you to the worksite. There will be water provided, but you will need a bottle to refill throughout the day. We'll try to bring some extra bottles as well.

Liability waiver: Lullabot will provide liability waivers during the drive in the morning for you to complete and hand in on-site.

Donation: Habitat asks for a voluntary $50 donation for participation. They understand, however, that most of our group will have already spent more than that on hotel rooms to stay. If you would like to donate money in addition to your time and hotel room costs, Habitat would be grateful.

Thanks for joining us! If you have any questions, please direct drop us a line!
